PumpMe ("we", "our", or "the app") is a free fuel price comparison app for the United Kingdom. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
PumpMe collects your device's location (precise and coarse) solely to find fuel stations near you. Location data is processed on your device and sent to our fuel price data provider to return nearby station results. We do not store your location on any server.
If you choose to enter a postcode instead of using your device location, that postcode is used only to look up nearby fuel stations and is not stored.
Location data is used exclusively to display fuel stations and prices near your current position or entered postcode. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any purpose other than providing the core app functionality.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your location is sent to our fuel price API provider solely to retrieve station data and is not retained by them beyond the request.
PumpMe does not maintain user accounts or store personal data on external servers. Your location preference and onboarding state are stored locally on your device using standard device storage and can be cleared by deleting the app.
The app may open third-party navigation apps (Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze) when you request directions to a fuel station. These apps have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
PumpMe is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Since we do not collect or store personal data on servers, there is no personal data for us to provide, modify, or delete. You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device's Settings app.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
